Aaron Gabriel Saenz
Aaron is a native of the Rio Grande
Valley, growing up in Rio Grande City, TX. Aaron lived there for 10
years and grew in the culture and the atmosphere in one of Texas' most
unique places to live. At the age of 11, Aaron's father, Ruben Saenz
Jr. and mother Maye Saenz, answered the call to the ministry and loaded
up the family to move to Dallas TX, where Aaron's father attended
Perkins School of Theology at SMU. Aaron was involved in the band
during his Jr. High years where his love for music began and still
continues to this day.
After seminary, Aaron again moved
with his family to the West Texas city of El Paso, TX. where Aaron
graduated High School from Eastwood HS. Aaron began to play football
and had brief involvement in wrestling and ROTC. After graduating,
Aaron moved to Sul Ross State University to play football for the
Lobos. Aaron spent 2 years in Alpine, TX. and then moved back to the
valley where he worked for the USDA and the Edinburg CISD.
While working and going to school,
Aaron also led the youth program at El Buen Pastor UMC, where youth
ministry was his love and his passion. Aaron found another love and
passion in Edinburg, in his wife Iris. Iris and Aaron recently
celebrated their 2 year anniversary and work as a team when it comes to
ministry. Aaron brings energy and a passion for Christ to our ministry
of Valley Praise. His preaching style is personable and the content is
for life application. You soon will be able to print out his sermon
manuscripts on this site and listen to the sermons through your media
player. Come and listen as the sermons will guide you to a life spent
with Christ. |
